Dealt with self contained students. Practiced with a script as to what to say. also worked on how to do follow up questions. Worked in groups so one did original questions while second did follow up questions.
After downloading film clips from flipphone, click on bottom right scissor icon to edit film. Similar to Windows Movie Maker in using double arrows to trim. Easy to place sound and determine if plays only during silent moments or lower/louder than voice.
Can make movie into snapshots... one second clips for closer examination.
Can upload to the Internet website of your choice. MUST SAVE FIRST ON THE DESKTOP. Talk with Tech department to permit teacher access to save to desktop? Might have to have the Tech person use their own computer. Suggested that you save to a "protected" wiki that is on invite only. This protects the kids pictures from outside eyes.
Have your Ed Tech check with Nelson on server issues with the Flip program before installing it.
